| Asia to Caribbean Trade Agreement |
| Member Lines servicing the trade from Asia to Caribbean have established Asia to Caribbean Trade Agreement (ACTA), in order to foster commerce, service and stability in the trade. |
(1) Rate Restoration Program Member Lines of this Agreement acknowledged that unless they have healthy and stable rates in the trade, they would be unable to maintain their adequate regular services in the trade. As such, they will announce their rate restoration program at a level of USD525/20f and USD750/40f effective August 15, 2010. (2) High-Cube Premium In view of the customersf benefit of using high-cube containers (8fx9f6hx40f) as compared with standard dry containers in terms of inside cubic measurement of the containers. Member Lines will announce their implementation of a High-Cube Premium at a level of USD200/40f HC effective August 15, 2010. Please note, however, that the aforementioned rate restoration program and the high-cube premium are working remarks which do not bind Members and would be implemented by their own discretion. |
