Further to the announcement of the ANZESC 2010 Business Plan dated 21st December, 2009, it is ANZESC Members’ decision to implement Ad-Hoc RR (Rate Restoration) on top of the prevailing market rates as follows:-

From Japan to Australia and New Zealand

• RR of USD.250/TEU and USD.500/FEU, effective 15/July/2010

ANZESC Members would like to seek customers’ understanding that the foregoing RR is essential so as to maintain stable and high quality service to destinations covered by ANZESC.

They also envisage implementation of further revenue recovery programme in the future, which they intend to make an announcement due course in line with the established business practice in Japan.
